Solid wood drying: 120 hours heating Water content is controlled at 6-8%
When the solid wood needed for furniture production is purchased, it is not a log trunk, but a solid wood strip with a thickness of 3-6 cm. These solid wood bars also need to be placed in the oven for drying. After 120 hours of heating, 48 hours of natural cooling was performed. This process is carried out in a cycle, generally the drying time of the whole furnace is 7 days, and the water content is generally 6-8% when finally taken out.
Solid wood stitching: stitching into suitable size
The size of the solid wood strips often does not meet the size requirements of the production parts, and splicing is required at this time. First use a special four-sided planer to plan the solid wood strip, then apply a special piece of glue to stick the solid wood together, and then pressurize for 8 hours.
Solid wood cutting: for planing and reprocessing
After the solid wood is spliced, there are often two shapes: thick solid wood panels and thick solid wood. In order to achieve the required shape of the solid wood, it is further processed in detail: for the wood-like parts, the flat surface is planed by double-sided pressing to achieve the required thickness.
Solid wood carving: a technician needs more than 30 knives
First draw a contour on the solid wood part with good material, and then cut the knife according to the outline. When carving, the general shape is first carved, called the embryo. Car, milling, opening: components that are machined into a fixed shape
The solid wood material to be cut is also made into a regular rectangular or square, circular, elliptical or other shaped member by cutting, lathe and milling machine. To assemble the hardware of the furniture, you need to pre-install the holes for them to install, and all the holes are completed by row drilling.
Molding assembly: assembling parts into a whole
Each part of the furniture is often made up of many small parts. For example, a bedside consists of a main board, solid wood top line, solid wood side column, bed board bar, engraving flower and other components. The combination of these components is connected by glue, cork, shovel, connecting wood and the like.
Sanding and grinding: smoothing the surface to prepare for painting
Sanding is a general term for all ash and sanding before painting. Sanding is done with sandpaper or abrasive cloth. In order to increase the speed of sanding, sandpaper or abrasive cloth is often installed on the machine. When the deformed part is not suitable for the above machines, sand the paper directly by hand.
Painted lacquer: three-point carpenter
The furniture can only be radiant after being painted, and the lacquer is not as simple as imagined, and it has to go through many procedures such as rubbing, primer, oil grinding, color retouching, and topcoating. Because the wood itself and the screen will absorb the paint, the primer should be sprayed three times before and after, so that the tube can be fully sealed, and the primer is fully polished after each primer is finished. The topcoat has two functions. On the one hand, the topcoat has a good protection for the home; on the other hand, the topcoat can make the surface of the furniture smoother and more delicate, and the texture is better.
Furniture packaging: both inside and outside need protection
Packaging is the protection of finished furniture for storage and transportation. EPE protects the inner layer of the furniture so that hard packaging does not scratch the furniture surface. All types of foam have a certain thickness and flexibility, which can cushion a considerable impact. On the one hand, the outer carton can play the role of marking the packaged products, and at the same time it also plays the greatest protection. For fragile parts such as glass and marble, it is also necessary to protect the outside with a wooden frame.
